The founding partners have been engaged in the establishment of the legal framework of microfinance in Palestine from the start as part of the Team that advised the Palestinian Monetary Authority “PMA” in drafting the laws and regulations relating to this sector, therefore the firm and the team have in-depth understanding of the legal and regulatory framework governing this sector in Palestine.

The firm acted as the legal counsel for the Arab Center for Agricultural Development (ACAD) and carried out the successful transformation of ACAD NGO which is the First Palestinian NGO to successfully carry out the transformation into a for profit micro finance Co, in accordance with the Palestinian Monetary Authority (PMA) regulations for specialized lending institutions and successfully accomplished the licensing of ACAD Micro finance Co and the restructuring of the newly formed company working closely with the shareholders international shareholders including the European Investment Bank, Grameen Credit Agricole, Triple Jump and Solidarité Internationale pour le Développement et l’Investissement (SIDI). The firm still represents to date ACAD Finance and othe MFIs in Palestine.
